January Pics

We went and took some shots with a friend of my sister-in-law.  She did a nice job!  I was happy to get to put some shots of my belly at this point in my pregnancy in print and in an album.  Here are a few of my favorites!  Baby girl #2 will be here in April! 

Halloween 2008

We had a lot of fun dressing Madelyn up for Halloween this year!  She was a cross between a ballerina and a fairy princess:-)  Needless to say she was very pretty!  We also got to dress up with her buddy Brady, who I watch 2 days a week.  We went to a play group party and had a very nice time.  Now it is time to get ready for Thanksgiving!

Fall Activities

October has been busy so far and we have been doing lots of fun things.  One of those things was going to Uncle Bubby's (my brother) farm for the day.  Madelyn and I picked apples, played with the dogs and the horse, and took lots of pictures.  It was a pretty warm day, one of the last, I think for a while.  We are lucky we have relatives with such fun places for us to visit!  

Smiley Update

We have been having a fun Fall, and football season is well underway.  The Eureka Red Devils are 2-2 on the season so far.  Madelyn is having fun going to the games and cheering on Daddy and the boys.  At last week's game she got to wear her new shirt, which a friend made for us(thanks Sam) and Daddy was very surprised!  At 18 months she is really starting to talk a lot more and loves to repeat what we say.  I found her yelling "Go D" at the game as I was yelling the same thing quite loudly.  Now that is one of her favorite things to say!  We are having great weather here and are enjoying playing outside and not getting too hot.  I am babysitting for a little boy 2 days a week, so Madelyn enjoys having a playdate every week.  We think it is good practice for her since we are expecting a little brother or sister for her in April.  We are very excited to have our family grow!  I have included some pics from the game and of the ultrasound from my first appointment.  Hope you are all well and that you have a wonderful Fall!

  I decided to try my hand at making a website where I can update everyone we love about what is going on in our household.  We love looking at Aaron and Kristin's website and our friend Sharna's page so I wanted to see if I could do it.  So hope you will check it out sometimes and see what I have added.  

  Madelyn is doing great!  She is loving summer and is gaining more independence everyday.  She loves to play outside and we are enjoying the nice cooler weather we have had lately.  She is talking more and is quite inquisitive about the new things she experiences.  What a joy she is!!
